University Medical Center Rostock

Hi, I’m Rodrigue Ndabashinze! πŸ‘‹

I am Rodrigue Ndabashinze, a medical doctor (MD, University of Burundi, 2022) and epidemiologist (MSc Epidemiology, University of Antwerp, 2025 β€” Distinction) specialising in evidence synthesis, causal inference, and NLP-driven clinical trial registry harmonisation.

Currently I am a Data Manager for Clinical Trials Registries & AI at the University Medical Center Rostock (Germany), within the German Centre for Child and Adolescent Health (DZKJ).

I am also an Evidence Synthesis Ireland Fellow (University of Galway, placed at Unity Health Toronto), contributing to the Post-Market Drug Evaluation (PMDE) CoLab Network and a Cochrane systematic review on therapeutic hypothermia for neonatal hypoxic-ischaemic encephalopathy.

My research interests span causal inference (target trial emulation, AIPW, IOSW transportability), NLP for biomedical text, meta-analysis (IPD & aggregate), and reproducible research workflows.

I am open for research collaborations, evidence synthesis projects, and speaking invitations. Feel free to reach out!
